    FORGE FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

    What is Forge?
Forge is iTmethods' Managed Runtime for enterprise tools, workloads, and AI infrastructure — sovereign by default, governed by design, enhanced by Reign. 55+ fully managed tools, Managed MCP Servers, and Agent Infrastructure for AI agent runtimes (NemoClaw, Cursor Self-Hosted, Claude Code) under one platform.
    What does "Managed Runtime" mean?
One operating envelope across enterprise DevOps, SaaS, AI tooling, and agentic AI — with a single trust posture, single SLA, and single audit trail. Forge replaces a fragmented stack of separately operated tools with one runtime contract.
    What's included in Forge?
55+ managed DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CloudBees, JFrog, SonarQube, Coder, and more) with 24/7 support and integrated SAST/DAST/SCA scanning; Managed MCP Servers (containerized per tool/plugin); Plane Enterprise project management; and Agent Infrastructure for enterprise AI agent runtimes governed by Reign.
    Where can Forge run?
iTmethods-operated cloud, customer cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), dedicated single-tenant, hybrid, and air-gapped deployments. Same governance every tier.
Is Forge SOC 2 / ISO 27001 / FedRAMP compliant?
Forge is SOC 2 Type II (continuously maintained since 2018), ISO 27001 certified, and FedRAMP-Ready. Forge does not carry Reign-specific AI-governance frameworks (SR 11-7, OSFI E-23, EU AI Act, FDA PCCP) — those live on Reign. iTmethods is also an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner.
What's the difference between Forge and Reign?
Reign governs. Forge runs. Reign is the AI Governance Platform — AI Gateway, Model Risk Validation, Audit Ledger (CAVR), and Assurance Packs. Forge is the Managed Runtime + Modern DevOps platform that hosts the tools and agent runtimes Reign governs.
