    DEFENSE & NATIONAL SECURITY

    Sovereign AI for mission-critical work.

Reign and Forge give defense primes, integrators, and government agencies a sovereign AI platform that runs air-gapped, meets ITAR and FedRAMP expectations, and produces evidence the auditor — and the IG — will accept.

    The Defense Reality

AI is operationally critical. The wrong AI architecture is a national security risk.

Defense and national-security customers want LLMs and agents accelerating analyst tradecraft, acquisition, sustainment, and mission planning. They cannot accept multi-tenant SaaS, foreign-controlled compute, or vendor lock-in. Most commercial AI platforms make compromises that ITAR, the IC, and program offices will not.

ITAR and EAR limit who can touch technical data — and where it can flow. Public LLM endpoints are non-starters.

FedRAMP High and IL5/IL6 workloads require deployment models most AI vendors don't support.

CMMC 2.0 Level 2 and Level 3 expect documented, evidenced controls — including for AI used to process CUI.

Open-weight foundation models from foreign labs introduce supply-chain risk that program offices can't accept.

Agentic AI with tool access to mission systems needs governance commercial MLOps platforms don't provide.

Auditors and IGs want tamper-evident provenance for every prompt, response, fine-tune, and dataset.

    02

    Acquisition & sustainment AI

Agentic AI synthesizing requirements, contract data, and sustainment records under FAR/DFARS-grade controls.

    03

    Mission planning & C2 assist

Sovereign foundation models supporting planning workflows in fully air-gapped enclaves.

    04

MCP-governed agents enriching alerts, hunting, and orchestrating response without data egress.

    05

    Engineering productivity

Forge gives DoD and prime engineering teams a SOC 2 / IL-deployable CI/CD platform; Reign governs developer AI tools.

    06

    Bio-defense & MHS workloads

Reign for Life Sciences (BioCompute.ai) runs multimodal models for medical countermeasures and military health in sovereign enclaves.

    DESIGN PARTNER COHORT

Become a design partner. Help define sovereign AI for the mission.

We are building Reign and Forge with a small cohort of defense primes, integrators, and program offices. Cohort members shape the classification-aware controls, the air-gapped reference architectures, and the evidence packs that program offices and IGs actually accept.

Outcomes we are targeting with the cohort

    Air-gapped
Reference architectures co-developed with primes and program offices
    ITAR / EAR
Classification-aware policy enforcement on every prompt and tool call
    FedRAMP / CMMC
Continuous evidence aligned with assessor and IG expectations
    0
Phone-home, telemetry, or data egress in classified enclaves

These are the outcomes the design partner cohort is working toward together. Not historical claims — co-developed targets, transparently tracked.

    FIRST LINE

    Operators, analysts, & engineers

Mission-relevant AI inside the perimeter — sovereign foundation models, governed agents, and tooling that meets program requirements.

    • Open-weight LLMs running on-prem, in GovCloud, or fully air-gapped
    • MCP-governed agents with policy-enforced tool access into mission systems
    • Forge runtime for the engineering teams supporting the program
    SECOND & THIRD LINE

    ISSMs, assessors, & IG

Tamper-evident provenance for every prompt, fine-tune, and dataset — packaged the way assessors and IGs actually review.

    • FedRAMP, CMMC L2/L3, NIST 800-171/53 control mappings
    • Supply-chain controls extending to model weights and inference deps
    • Evidence packs ready for ConMon, audit, and IG review
    EXECUTIVE & BOARD

    Program executives & primes

A sovereign AI posture program offices, primes, and the customer can defend — and a roadmap shaped by the missions you actually run.

    • Sovereign deployment — no foreign-controlled compute or telemetry
    • Co-developed reference architectures aligned with mission realities
    • Open foundation, no single-vendor lock-in for mission-critical AI

Defense cannot ship AI that program offices cannot accept, ISSMs cannot evidence, or the IG cannot review. The cohort is being built to make sovereign AI fieldable without compromising any of the three.

    DEFENSE FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

Which defense / national-security frameworks does Reign address?
Reign aligns with ITAR, NIST 800-171, CMMC, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and STANAG-aligned environments. Assurance Packs render evidence mapped to authorization-to-operate (ATO) packages and program-office acceptance criteria.
    Can Reign run fully air-gapped?
Yes. Air-gapped is a first-class deployment tier — same four-component Spine (AI Gateway, Model Risk Validation, Audit Ledger, Assurance Packs), no required outbound telemetry, no foreign-controlled compute. Sovereignty is a deployment property, not a separate product.
How does Reign govern agentic AI in mission systems?
AI Gateway enforces identity-bound policy at the call layer for LLM and agent traffic. The Audit Ledger keeps tamper-evident records of every tool call, every model invocation, and every policy enforcement event — reconstructable for IG review or program-office acceptance.
Does Reign support sovereign LLM deployments?
Yes. Reign is model-agnostic — it governs whatever LLM stack the program runs, including sovereign / on-premise / NVIDIA-stack inferencing. Model Risk Validation maintains the approved-model registry; AI Gateway enforces routing and policy at runtime.
Are reference architectures available for defense primes?
iTmethods is co-developing reference architectures with defense primes and program offices through the Design Partner cohort. Architectures are aligned with mission realities and ATO packaging rather than a generic enterprise template.
Is Reign for Defense generally available?
Reign is in Design Partner phase — engagement is qualified cohort by cohort with defense primes, spacetech operators, and program offices. Forge (Managed Runtime + Modern DevOps) is GA. Defense organizations interested in Reign apply to the Design Partner Program.
